I’m a 23 year old 3D artist from Belgium with a passion for video games. I always loved playing games like Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Crash Bandicoot, … I can’t even imagine the amount of hours I must have played them. I’ve made some really great friends, and had some of the best times of my life while playing these games. This is a big reason why I stepped into the gaming industry, to create that feeling I had while I was a kid, for someone else.
I’ve recently graduated my bachelor curriculum in Digital Arts and Entertainment at Howest. In my second year however, I started to get courses such as ‘Game Graphics’ and ‘Level Decoration’. This is when I figured out what I really love doing the most. Making hand painted scenes, experimenting with particles, messing around in post-process for hours, … I could do this for days. During my internship at Happy Volcano however, I’ve also rekindled my passion for narrative-driven games. Working together closely with the story writer and brainstorming was a real neat experience.
Like I’ve said before, I’m passionate about what I do – and there is no reason to be annoyed if you’re doing something you like! So even with short deadlines and working under pressure, I always try to keep a good mood in everything I do. If you’re working with passion and joy, there’s no way to get bothered with what you’re doing.
I’m currently looking for a job, and I would love to go abroad!
I would happily answer any of your questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Live long and prosper,
