I’m really happy I finally get to show you my latest project. I’ve been wanting to get back into more realistic materials and PBR materials, and I’m really happy I did. The entire progress has taught me so much, and will speed up my future workflow for sure.
A really big thank you and shout out to Tim Bergholz for providing the tutorial to make one of these mechs yourself. I would recommend this tutorial to anyone who wants to get into AAA-quality modelling. It probably is one of the best tutorials out there!
The low poly object is 13,8K polygons total, and it follows the complete PBR workflow.
As for software, the entire mech was modelled in 3DsMax, and textured in Substance Painter.
