Tavertime is a maxscript I created to generate random tiling patterns over custom surfaces.
It has complete control over noise, spacing, height, amount of tiles and many other values.
In the video above, I show that after generating the tile pattern, you could easily create game ready assets that look pretty good.

I had a good time working on this assignment, it was fun to learn to use the program I use everyday in a different way.
